To support the GM and our FOH team be successful. Make guests and team members feel special, supported and valued
Floor Operations
Focus on Counter operations: case fulfillment, future orders, ordering product, guest hospitality
Floor pre-shifts/communication with team
Support the host stand and wait list and the expo to ensure food is accurate and timely
Ordering
Establish pars, manage inventory and place orders from commissary
Training
Lead the training of new FOH hires
Facilitate GM in scheduling training shifts
Cleanliness/Side Work
Ensuring that checklists and side work are completed to brand standard with daily walkthroughs to identify and resolve cleaning and maintenance issues
Point of Sale (Toast) Management:
Voids/Refunds
Finding checks, managing future orders and printing
Enter new employee data
Mastery of FOH ops (split checks, gratuity, modifying orders, table numbers, payment)
Guest Recovery
Resolving any guest issues and leaving them with a positive experience
Financials
Make accurate deposits, team checkouts
Growth and Corporate Goals:
Support GM in achieving “big picture” initiatives (labor, sales, growth)
Co-leading leads meeting. Opportunity to attend weekly Ops meeting in GM's absence
Professionalism
Uphold the brand standards of professionalism and hospitality with guests and team in appearance, communication and presentation of self as a representative of Gourmandise

Greet guests and seat them in an orderly fashion according to the rotation
Be the first friendly face of the brand. Provide a warm welcome and fond farewell
Assure that guests needs are met
Bring menus and answer service questions
Act as the maître d’ of the restaurant
Pick up on body language and cues of guests to ensure we specialize our hospitality to meet their needs
Communicate with servers, bussers, and management to ensure smooth operations.
Will be cross-trained on the expo & bussing

Provide full table service.
Master our counter product list and the full menu.
Enter orders in our Point of Sale system and deliver food and beverages to guests.
Will be cross-trained on bussing, hosting, expo, and basic barista/bartending. Servers will be asked to fulfill these duties at times.
Ability to offer the polish and professionalism of fine-dining and blend that with a quick pace and high volume. Assure that guests' needs are met.
Communicate with team members effectively to ensure smooth operations.

Box up and ring up purchases.
Restock product as it is sold.
Take phone-in, online, cafe orders.
Prep and packaged 3rd party delivery orders.
Take drive thru order (Draper and American Fork locations only).
Will be cross-trained on expo and our coffee program.
Finish pastries and desserts. Some decoration and production will be required.
Coordinate with kitchen staff for togo, grab-n-go, hot orders and pastries.
